2008 BUSINESS of the YEAR

M & M Pump & Supply, Inc. along with its division McCoy Machine & Gear have been named Business of the Year 2008 by the Flora Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber recognizes award winners in three different categories each year, New Business of the Year, Business of the Year and Citizen of the Year. The awards were presented at the annual Chamber banquet Saturday, November 15, at the Community of Christ Church in Flora.
The Flora Chamber Board of Directors examined the Business of the Year nominees based on the following criteria; Current member of the Chamber, open for business the past year, community contributions, creation of new jobs over the last year, expansion of the business, longevity of employment and plans for future jobs or expansion.
